CERN anual report for 2017 is already available. In this report, Fabiola Gianotti In this report ATLAS/LHC it is shown that ATLAS/LHC is considered a flagship of CERN and NA-64 is recognized as an important project. The full reporte can be found here.
A new method has been developed in order to fix damaged groups of cables without having to wind up the whole cathode again.
Two more doublets have been produced
The new cathodes are being submitted to High Voltage tests in order to make sure they can be used for making a new chamber.
The space in the laboratory is being re-organized. All cathodes are being re-accommodated
Production of a new chamber has started, today, technicians have been using the winding machine in order to solder the cables to the pads.
A new doublet has been fabricated using the two chambers that had been recently closed.
During today, two more chambers have been closed. Later today they will be put together in order to make a Doublet.
